     A small town of 1,315 inhabitants, and is the centre of many linen mills and factories, the weaving and finishing of linen being one of the staple industries of the town.  An important fair is held on the second Friday of every month, and the markets are Mondays and Thursdays for oats, and Fridays for general products.  The shops' half-holiday is on Wednesday
