RANDALSTOWN
County Antrim
Situated seventeen miles north-west from
Belfast (22 miles by road), and two miles north from the nearest point
of Lough Neagh. There is a weekly market every Wednesday for flax,
grain, pork, butter, meat, poultry, and eggs. One of the best
grass-seed markets in the North of Ireland is held here. There are
two fairs in the year - on the 16th July and 1st November.

A beautiful watering-place nearly
two miles distant from Warrenpoint. It lies between the most southerly
peaks of the Mournes and Carlingford Lough; is sheltered from cold winds,
and is an excellent centre for mountaineering and fishing.

The town of Trillick is situated about two
miles from the station of that name on the Great Northern Railway.
It is on the leading road from Omagh to Enniskillen - 16 miles from the
former and 12 miles from the latter. It is eight miles distant from
Fintona, six from Irvinestown, and four from Dromore. A market is
held every Saturday for the sale of eggs and fowl, and every Tuesday and
Thursday for pork. Shops' half-holiday, Wednesday. Population, 192.
