1951 - 21st June Postmark Jersey from Margaret
to Miss M. Henderson, 99 Malone Avenue, Belfast, N. Ireland - Having lovely
time & bathing every day, twice yesterday. Beautiful weather, I wish I lived
here all the time. The hotel is very nice, we have dancing in it every
evening. Will see you sometimes after I get home again.

Having wonderful time. We had a good crossing over but had no berths. I was
thinking of you that night enjoying yourself & I was sorry I was missing it.

Belfast, N. Ireland - Hope the party went off well. We are having a very
good time here, went to a dance Friday starting at one o'clock, haven't
recovered yet! Regards from all.

golf and fishing order of the day, no shootin' though so far!! Regards to

weather simply lovely at present. London very nice what I have seen of it.
Came over in Elizabeth and very comfortable.
1954 - 14th September Postmark Ballycastle from
Phoebe to Miss N. Henderson, 99 Malone Avenue, Belfast - 13th Sept. I forgot
to ring the Donough people about straw before I came here & I wondered if
you could possibly do it for me. Ring Carryduff 243 & say there is a load of
manure at 136 Malone Road & ask them to deliver straw there for me. I will
be very grateful if you could do that for me. Thank you again for your
invitation, see you next Saturday. Love

Brora, Saturday, Enjoying my holiday very much. Have motored up to west
along roads like (squiggle)!!! Hectic, speed never over 25-30 m.p.h. for
days. Been to J. O'G. (John O'Groat?) nothing to see as the weather is not
so good now. Love

Phoebe to Miss M. Henderson, 99 Malone Avenue, Belfast - 30th Sept. We had a
god journey here, weathers moderate so far! Thank you very much indeed for
the excellent dinner party you gave last Friday & also for organising my
nag? for me. Valerie would love to see Genevieve & we could go on Monday if
that would suit you David having invited us to the mess on Tuesday & Robert
has fixed us for Wed. Hope this will suit you. Love

a very nice Holiday, the weather is cold but dry, only one wet day so far,

run down & arrived safely. Weather so-so but there are 16 of us here so it
is good fun. We went exploring an old castle this morning. Love to A. Gertie

June, The boat is very nice & we have lots of room, in fact I have never
seen so much room in a boat in my life. It is wet today but we came through
the canal yest. & are tied up at Caisas? We have had nice sailing breezes &
a calm sea which has been grand.
