'Royal Avenue, Belfast' May 1904 Postmark Belfast to J. J. Rogers Esq., Draperstown - Dear John, I happened while out fishing this evening to drop across a real live trout. I have sent it to you by passenger train. I should say (1st tomorrow) as I was late for last. For goodness sake ask the publisher of thurs. post card of D.town to burn the rest. I could see nothing but street and sky with a few houses leaning to one side. Glad to hear you continue well. Susanna & all here well. F. McGlade(?) Mrs. Laurence is away burying her Father A. Brook last night, down here to-day for a bath with Uncle T. & Fr. O'Callaghan, going ?? first tomorrow. Hope all are well at home. I expect to see you all very soon. Can't say what day yet, very busy all the time since it took some time to have all prepared. I am sure you dear Mother & Brigid are worked to death. How is Baby. Thanks for parcel received. You might tell Patrick to take off the handles of the bicycle and leave them in a warm & dry place as I fear they are becoming rusted in the garreb(?) Just a word dearest Mary to wish you a right happy Easter, which indeed you are pretty sure to have. I am writing this from B.bay as I have the house in Portrush let until the 1st May to the Conynghams of Moneymore. Your Uncle Frank will be spending his Easter at Lourdes he says, after that a letter would find him c/o Father O'Boyle, Irish College, Rue des Irlandius Paris, he seems to be well surprised by his trip. It is ? in this chapel the ordinations are carried on. The ordinations for Sub. D. and ? are over on Sunday, the ordination ceremony for priesthood takes place. Mary is to be here. Derry - Dear Moll, As you know, that little expedition to the moon made by me some time ago was scarcely as successful as I could have wished. So I decided on a trip to Coleraine. Well here I am and enjoying it immensely, splendid place, lots of fun and you can see for yourself, how's the great "Barney McCleery" can indulge in that gentle art of osculation. Eh! what! Arthur had a letter from some of the preists to grand help to hear confessions to-day we left him behind, he is coming this evening on 6.30 train. We drove to Armagh by Richhill.
