Draperstown - Dear John, I happened while out fishing this evening to drop
across a real live trout. I have sent it to you by passenger train. I should
say (1st tomorrow) as I was late for last. For goodness sake ask the
publisher of thurs. post card of D.town to burn the rest. I could see
nothing but street and sky with a few houses leaning to one side. Glad to
hear you continue well. Susanna & all here well. F. McGlade(?) Mrs. Laurence

aware, that Sister Pius Boyle is very seriously ill. Please pray & get all

2) 12th September 1905 Postmark Warrenpoint to Mrs. B. Rogers, Draperstown,
Co. Derry - Dearest Mother, Have just returned from Athlone, ? all dear
children well, but very lonely. I came to B. Brook last night, down here
to-day for a bath with Uncle T. & Fr. O'Callaghan, going ?? first tomorrow.
Hope all are well at home. I expect to see you all very soon. Can't say what
day yet, very busy all the time since it took some time to have all
prepared. I am sure you dear Mother & Brigid are worked to death. How is
Baby. Thanks for parcel received. Had no time to answer it. Love to Father &

Draperstown, Co. Derry - I was very glad to get your letter and Susanna's. I
will answer to yourself in a day or two. You might tell Patrick to take off
the handles of the bicycle and leave them in a warm & dry place as I fear
they are becoming rusted in the garreb(?) Glad to see football has not died
away in D.town yet, expect to see Bradley here to-morrow night. Weather

Convent, Cabra, Co. Dublin - Conneen House, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, Good
Friday 1905. Just a word dearest Mary to wish you a right happy Easter,
which indeed you are pretty sure to have. I am writing this from B.bay as I
have the house in Portrush let until the 1st May to the Conynghams of
Moneymore. Your Uncle Frank will be spending his Easter at Lourdes he says,
after that a letter would find him c/o Father O'Boyle, Irish College, Rue
des Irlandius Paris, he seems to be well surprised by his trip. Your uncle
in Belfast and the child and all are well. Their Aunt from Spain is with

2) 9th June 1905 Postmark Maynooth, Co. Kildare - Mr. Bernard Rogers,
Draperstown, Co. Derry - How do you like the interior of our Church? As you
see each one has a stall to himself. It is ? in this chapel the ordinations
are carried on. The ordinations for Sub. D. and ? are over on Sunday, the
ordination ceremony for priesthood takes place. Mary is to be here. Trusting

Derry - You were somewhat excited this morning, through my fault. This is a
lovely day in Dublin. There are crowds of students in Dublin today, plenty

bathe. Glad to hear you are all well. I suppose you are enjoying yourself
well. I bathed the day you went away. We are all very lonely since you left.
We had a P.C. from R. Devlin to day, said she was going to see you, love to
Mother an all, Rose. P.S. Don't eat too much ice cream or you might get sick
like last time.

Rogers, Draperstown, Co. Derry - Received Rose's welcome letter yesterday,
glad to hear of your prize, you are very rich now. I hope you didn't get a
black eye at the fight in school yard. Have you any snow there, we had some
yesterday, but it is gone again. Much amusement about the Cross now! I

My dear Brother and Sister, John and I are well, hopping you getting all
right again, we had a very strong passage, they were few escaped sickness I
was one of the lucky ones, not sick all the way. Friday last The are all in

Derry - Dear Moll, As you know, that little expedition to the moon made by
me some time ago was scarcely as successful as I could have wished. So I
decided on a trip to Coleraine. Well here I am and enjoying it immensely,
splendid place, lots of fun and you can see for yourself, how's the great
"Barney McCleery" can indulge in that gentle art of osculation. Eh! what! I
think old Pale Face is sorry now he didn't treat me more civilly when I

D-martin & went near Moneymore & had to turn. Home about 7.15 That day in
D-town was like a slice of old days let into present. Good effects of
Portstewart not worn off yet. Would like it all over again. Intend to take a

came here yesterday and took new photo with the deer but it has not come
yet. She is quite settled down although, she often talks about you all. She

- Dear Bernard, We are just home from Armagh. Arthur had a letter from some
of the preists to grand help to hear confessions to-day we left him behind,
he is coming this evening on 6.30 train. We drove to Armagh by Richhill. The
scenery was exquisite. Will you write and let us know if we may stay over
the fairday. Glad to hear from Patricks letter that everything is going on

sure you enjoyed today. It has been very wet here. How is the baby getting
on, you see I have still a rather for him, love to all E. McP. I was
speaking to Mrs. D. today, all well. I hope Mrs. Rogers was nothing the

to-day, Mother, Patrick & Katie. There are a great many people, not many
from home. Uncle Pat, Aunt Lily & Baby came to D.town, on Thursday driving,
and they were preparing to leave this morning before we came away. Mother
would like if you could come here, a few days next week, glad to hear your
face is alright, we have the same rooms, this day is nice and cool. Love

very pleasant holiday. We were home about 5.30 the drive was grand and not a

the Red Ribbon Society is still in the way of well doing. As I am the only
member in this part of the world, it isn't worth my while to display the
