Just a line to say I got your letter, you talk about the weather, well, I
"don't ken" but it seems to be always raining here, about one fine day in
every week. I hope Cassey(?) & Purcell has got up from the fire by now, I
think you's right in looking out for a place as Mrs. Traill(?) is not going
to Ballylough till Summer & then only for a short time. I hope poor Jilly
has got over her cold. I am only 20 minutes walk from the Town. I go to the

L'pool o.k. I never knew of a moments sickness. I slept all night, I am
staying at a Hotel, names of people, Roberts, we landed at 3.30 a.m. had to
stay on board till 7. We had an awful rough night. So Good ? sailing.

Sunday, July 10th/21 Dear Jim McScout? Davis(?) & I went out in our
canoe all morning, have just finished dinner. We are having a fine time
here. This is a great family hotel. They are lots of boys and girls here. I
can hear Col. Barker's hydro plane out on the water. She takes up a
