1) Rev. W. J. McGeagh who had been Presbyterian Chaplain to the Moyle, Smiley and Dixon hospitals for many years, has retired. East Antrim Hospital Management Committee has recorded its deep appreciation of the work he had done for the patients, and for his friendly approach and helpfulness to all in the East Antrim area. - The members of the staff of the Eastern Special Care Management Committee are sorry to bid farewell to Miss H. Gibson, who has been a member of the clerical staff for the last ten years. Miss Gibson's interest in the Service is well known and, indeed, it has been due to her efforts that so many of the events in the Eastern Special Care area have been reported in "Hospital News". - In the last issue of Hospital News, two events were recorded which have since proved to be very closely related indeed. They were the resignation of Miss H. M. Gibson from the Special Care Service and the retirement of the Rev. W. J. McGeagh, Presbyterian Chaplain to the Moyle, Smiley and Dixon Hospitals. Miss Gibson has since become Mrs. McGeagh and she and her husband are now living in Portstewart. We wish them both every happiness.

5) 12th May 1965 postmark Omagh, Co. Tyrone to The Rev. & Mrs. W. J. McGeagh, 104 Strand Road, Portstewart, Co. Derry (Ivybank, Larne Harbour, N. Ireland scored out) at "Rash House" Omagh, Co. Tyrone  Dear Mr. & Mrs. McGeagh, Well, here I am at last out of the clinic after 9 weeks. Iris & Rob came & brought me to Omagh to get built up again. I sent you a notice for next Wednesday to meet Miss Wyatt. I shall not be here, I just could not do the meeting let alone to meet you all. I wrote Mr. Moore of Kings Arms to give you both lunch & a drink with Miss Hyatt?, Mrs. Minnis & one or two others, so do drink my health. I am sorry to miss the meeting. Will you see that any funds we have goes to our debt on the club. Did you know we had trouble at the club with the last two people? They had to let them go & close it for 2 weeks, now we have a retired policeman & his wife, she has relations in Larne (Johnstones) so they may settle. I am sorry I had to be away so much from it, however when I get well again I shall take more interest in it. All my doctors tell me I shall be alright if I learn not to rush about so much. I never thanked you for your kind thought in sending me the little box of note paper, it came in handy. I hope you will have a very happy meeting, I shall be thinking of you all. With kindest regards to you both, yours sincerely ?  K. Burton
