Sixteen-month-old Roy Beers is seen with his father, Mr. Raymond Beers, at their home in Bangor to-day. Ulster child very ill after Corsica trip, by "Belfast Telegraph" Reporter, Trevor Hanna.  As 16-month-old Roy Beers played happily at his home in Bangor to-day, seven miles away in Holywood a doctor was called to three-year-old Edward Larmour. The two Ulster leukaemia babies arrived home with their disappointed fathers last night after spending a fortnight in Corsica in vain hope of receiving treatment with French biologist Gaston Naesep's "last hope" serum. And to-day Mrs. Larmour said she thought the journey had upset her son. In the doorway of her home at 32 Firmount Crescent, Redburn Estate, she said; He is too ill to be seen or photographed. He is lying in bed very ill and I have had to send for the doctor. We are waiting to get him into hospital.  Her husband, Mr. Edward Larmour, joined her to talk of the bitterness he felt after his mercy trip to Corsica had failed.
