in Northern Ireland so there has to be a connection somewhere.
I assume this is Mr. Hoult, I like the smiling ones

with Army today, Army requested that Navy provide Senior Lieut. to work
with Army Captain appointed as Camp Commandant, Cameron Barracks, and
arriving tomorrow 20th October, these two officers to co-ordinate
marching in of the two Services. With reference to Rosyth No.
3721/0986XDVI/B of 16th October, para 4, request one Lieutenant RNVR be

To B. P. Hoult, Lieutenant Commander (SP) R.N.V.R. 1. You are being
released from Service, as a Class A Release. 2. The date of your
Release will be 17th February 1947. 3. You have been granted leave as
follows, starting on the day after the date of this Order:- 3 days foreign
service leave expiring on 23rd December 1946 and 56 days resettlement leave
expiring on the date of your Release. 4. You are free to take up civil
employment at any time after the date of this Order. 5. You may wear
civilian clothing while on leave, and you are to cease to wear uniform after
the date of your release, but you should keep your uniform intact in case
you are recalled for service. 6. After your release you will be
regarded as being in Reserve, and you will be liable, until the end of the
present emergency, to recall to the Naval Service by the revocation of this
Order at any time. You will not be recalled, however, except in extreme
emergency. 7. Your home address is noted in official records as
follows:- Ingledene, Allport Road, Bromborough, Cheshire. You are to
report all changes to the Secretary of the Admiralty. Failure to do so may
