1) 18th February 1909 Postmark Enniskillen to Mr. McBrien, The Grove, Belleek - Tom is keeping well, suffers little pain, the Dr. said yes, he was going well, he will see him ? even again.
2) 4th March 1909 Postmark London to Mrs. T. J. McBrien, The Grove, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh - Thursday. Almost in London, got along nicely, was not sick crossing to Hollyhead, great ? everywhere, most of the night in train, was quite warm, 10 to 8 we should have been in London at 7.30. I did not see Jack at all, wasn't it too bad. We leave ? 9.58 am train tomorrow and go direct to ????? Thanks so much for letters, yours Ellie. Writing train, excuse shaky. I hope the (sorry its too muddled to read)
3) 5th March 1909 Postmark Victoria Docks to Mrs. T. J. McBrien, The Grove, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland - Arawa(?) 5.3.09 I've got safely on board, all my luggage also, another lady shares my cabin, a Mrs. Hudson, she is going back to Wellington, there are several on board going to same place as I, so as that I'll have company. I've the worst part over. I'll write you from Plymouth, hope I shant be sea sick or have a fall. Don't be anxious about me, I'll be all right.

Just after lovely dinner with my chaperone Master George. I had a letter to mail to Meta, you can have a read at it, we expect to arrive in Wellington on Monday. 6) "Alorstra"(?) Sept. 19th 1910 - My Dear Cousin, I am writing to thank you for your kindness in sending me such a darling little present from Ireland. I shall prize it very much coming from one of my Cousins, of whom I hear my Father speak so often. I am very fond of ornaments & have some nice ones of my own, but one coming all the way from the Belleek Pottery & of which one often hears of but seldom sees any. So you may depend I shall value it. Father arrived home safely last Friday, we think he looks splendid after his holidays. He says he spent a most enjoyable time among you all and shall never forget the hearty welcome he received from all. I wonder if we shall ever have the pleasure of meeting you out here, I hope so sometimes. Remember me to Mr. McBrien and with love from your affec. Cousin Ru(?) Bruce

Awful returning. Splendid eve. & on till 12.5 at Dumfries where it was raining & poured all yesterday. Now is very dark & dull today, has been constant wet here lately, hope its fine still at home. Suppose if so they are with C. today. Write soon, fond love to both E.
5) This is a view of Hobart(?) the capital of Tasmania, it is a lovely place but not so warm as New Zealand being further South. I spent a day here on my voyage out of New Zealand. I thought the place lovely, there was a profusion of flowers everywhere, Geraniums growing wild in great clumps along the roadside. Mowbray Bruce

8) Argyle Street off St. Pancras Station. My Dear Niece, I arrived safe in London this morning. I left Greenore at 8.30 after waiting three hours. I got to Hollyhead at 1.30 a.m. reaching London a little after 8 o'clock after transacting some business. I went to Walthamstow about 10 miles from London to see my Sister-in-law and now after a very Busy day I am writing this at 7 this evening, hoping to sleep sound tonight I have ..
