well. The weather here is awful this last couple of days & expect it is just

would just love to be at home but I shall let you know if it turns out so.

Patterson, West Street, Carrickfergus - Thanks for card, was confined to bed
when I got it or I would have answered it sooner. I am a lot better now, go
our every day for a walk, of course I can't go far. Mr. & Mrs. S. was here
on Sat. and I happened to mention that I had a card from you so you need not
be alarmed if he says anything. I have been wondering why James is leaving.
Mrs. S. was up one day and told me there was another girl in to help Minnie.
How do you like your new typist, I believe she is awfully quiet, just

Dear Tommy, I am sorry I could not send you a PC much sooner as the Graby
has died since I came home. I wish I was back again at Carrickfergus, I
cannot forget the good nights we had. My mother will be leaving for Ireland
on Saturday. We got good company home and enjoyed ourselves very well.
Rebecca is coming over to our house on Saturday night to stay till Monday.
If you and Willie were here I think we could enjoy ourselves. Tell Willie I

glorious weather, we can get cheap trips from here, we are going down in
Wales today, it is about 50 miles & only shilling return, we were at this
place on Monday, it is a very ancient City, it has a very high wall round &
we walked all round, this is the bridge which crosses the river Dee. Kind
