21st July 1927 Postmark Garvagh to Miss M. Lynn, 58 Cavendish Street, Falls Road, Belfast - Dear Mamie, I am having a real good time here. I have a bike, a motor, and at times a motor bicycle at my disposal. These people couldn't possibly be nicer to me, all the same I think a week will satisfy me. I have got quite friendly with all sorts of animals, yesterday milked a cow, so there you are. L.

Ireland - Valencia  Having a lovely holiday here, never felt anything like the heat, we were Sorry to leave Lourdes, it was all wonderful, we remembered you both at the Grotto. There were hundreds of Pilgrims & invalids there. We were inside the Home of St. Bernadette. Love to all. Paddy & Kath

7th June 1952 Postmark Valencia to Mrs. & Miss Lynn, 39 Oakman Street, Falls Road, Belfast, N. Ireland - Valencia  This is a glorious place, famous for flowers & fruit - saw lemon & peach trees laden with fruit, also rice growing. The Ordination of nearly a thousand Priests in Barcelona was a great sight to see in open Stadium. The heat is terrific; since we arrived it has been constant sunshine. Hope you are both well. I'm always or should be the hatted brigade that bask along the wall - believe it or not I've done the dances every night since I arrived & so far, have enjoyed the T.S.  I think I'll quit while the going is good.
