Dryfeholm, Malone Park, Belfast, Ireland - The weather is something fierce
here just now. Many people lost their lives last Sunday in a fearful
blizzard that swept over the Country. Hope you are well, and everything

Ma Chére Petíte, I see you ? correct in the title 'Notre Dame de Paris' in
my cheap edition it was called "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" no doubt from
the lewd Mr. Quasimodo; however the; "Hard Bath" is by Reade, yours McDowell
'Studies in Expression, When Women are Jurors'
5) 8th March 1907 Postmark Cleveland, Ohio to Miss Minnie Davison,
Dryfeholm, Malone Park, Belfast, Ireland - "St. Patricks" is a great day
here for the Irish Americans (Catholics) Hope this finds you & all the folks
O.K. Very cold here yet & the snow quite deep. Have had more than my fill of

envelope out of my book, she thinks it is too much to loose when she made it

nice as the Queen's Arcade, Belfast? I pass through here nearly every day
and it is really fine. The weather is getting warmer now so must get
prepared for a hot summer. I suppose Malone Park is still in the same place.

Ohio, and is certainly fine. The weather is awfully cold yet & the ground is

much of an idea what it is like as this is an immense place. There is a
lovely Band Promenade & Dance Hall attached. Hope you & all the folks are

Belfast - Dear M. Having a fairly good time - trudge out in all weather and
make the best of it. Had a great day yesterday - spent most of it on "The
Head" The sea was terribly rough - It was simply glorious watching the great
waves breaking on the rocks and reviving spray - just like ? ever so high.
Wouldn't have missed it for a good deal. Best love Lily

frightfully long journey. This is not a very good view, but will send you a
better one later. The weather is lovely here. Just imagine Cherries & Pears

floor of one of these sky scrapers? This one is not by any means the highest

Park. You ought to see these places at night beautifully illuminated with

where I spent last Sunday afternoon watching the yacht races. You ought to
see the lovely Baptha Launches they have on the Lakes. Kindest remembrances

2) 26th June/6th July 1907 Postmarks Belfast/Cleveland, Ohio to Miss Minnie
Davison, Dryfeholm, Malone Park, Belfast, Ireland - The heat here is simply
fierce, and people are dying every day. On Sunday last it was so bad that
parts of the sidewalks were blown into the air, & you would have thought
there had seen an earthquake. I am able to stand it better this summer than
last. You ought to be here for a day to see what it is like. Hope you & all

Dublin on Sat. & the Jewels were gone on Monday? So it happened. I have had
a grand time at the Exhibition - saw their Majesties twice to-day, & went
down to see the decorations at Kingston. On Monday I was through Talbot
House & all the grounds - they gave me such a funny feeling. Hope you are

left got Douglas or even thought of coming here, Wesley Roddie? & I thought
Saturday next would be a suitable day for us to have a C. E. picnic, the
whereabouts has not been arranged, I want let you and Miss Cooke know, I
think Mr. Gaurd? will be at home, that was why that date was chosen. Maud &
I are returning on Friday eve. and if arranged hope to join you. The weather
is glorious here, sun shining and yesterday we had a drive in a Landour to
Port Erin & back, a young fellow join me, for the day with his young lady,

This is a lovely Hotel, and runs through to Euclid Avenue. Superior Street
is about 10 miles long, so I will try & get the different views of it. The
