1) 8th November 1915 from Reed, Ryder & Meikle, 19 Northumberland Square, North Shields to Mr. W. T.? Robson - Dear Sir, As I was from home when you sent the balance of the mortgage on the Moor Houses? property the Deeds were not sent to you, I have now signed the release of the mortgage and shall be obliged if you will let me know where you wish the Deeds to be sent. The charge including stamp etc. will be for the release. 12/-  Yours faithfully William Reed
2) (a) 13th 14th December 1757 - Indentures of Lease and Release respectively made between Edward Jackson and Catherine his wife thereon respectively described of the one part and Joseph Motley therein also described of the other part.  5th November 1845 - Declaration of Jackson Smith therein described as to pofsefsion (possession) of premises.  3rd December 1845 - Declaration of Thomas Carfs? therein described as to pofsefsion of premises.   28th December 1845 - Declaration of John Carfs? therein described as to pofsefsion of premises.   30th December 1845 - Indenture of Release and made between the said Jackson Smith and Isabella his wife of the 1st? part the said Anthony Scott of the 2nd part and the said Thomas Reed of the 3rd part.   31st December 1845 - Indenture of appointment and made between the said Anthony Scott of the one part and John Rennison, Joseph Laing, John Sadler? and John Philipson of the other part.   9th December 1846 - Indenture of Release and made between the said Anthony Scott of the 1st part, John Rennison, Joseph Laing, John Sadler and John Philipson therein generally and respectively described of the 2nd part and the said Isabella Hewson? and Thomas Reed of the 3rd parts.   Official Copy Certificate of Isabella Smith's acknowledgment of the Deed.
2 (b) Dated 9th December 1846 - Schedule of Deeds and writings relating to the ? of Cottages and Garden Ground situated at Moor Houses in the Township of Preston and County of Northumberland belonging to Mr. Anthony Scott and by him given in Mortgage to Mifs Isabella Hewson and Mr. Thomas Reed Trustees under the marriage settlement of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Stephens to secure the repayment of £80  - and Interest at £5 per Cents? 4) 15th July 1953 Postmark Troon, Ayrshire to Miss Nan Black, 1 Neill's Hill Park, Belfast, N. Ireland - Dear Auntie Nan, arrived here via Ardrossan daylight boat in drizzle which has continued, and looks like worsening. However everyone is O.K. hope you are too. Jack Kyle
