1) Wedding at Knock - McMillen - Warwick (By Our Lady Correspondent) The wedding took place yesterday afternoon in St. Columba's Church, Knock, of Miss Mabel Honoria Warwick, only child of Dr. and Mrs. John Warwick, Stonehaven, North Road, Belfast, and Second-Lieutenant Hugh McMillen, R.A., elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McMillen, Rosetiles, Rosepark East, Dundonald. The church was artistically decorated with lilac and sweetpea. The officiating clergy were Rev. Canon Olden, M.A., rector of the parish, and Rev. C. M. Young, M.A., Bloomfield Presbyterian Church. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charming in a picture frock of slipper satin in a peach tone, fashioned on Tudor Lines. The heart-shaped neckline and sleeves were embroidered in seed pearls and beads. The full skirt merged into a train. The tulle veil, edged with gold, was surmounted by a halo head-dress of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of Ophelia roses, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by two bridesmaids, the Misses Mildred C. Woodhouse (cousin) and Mary B. Dowling. Bombardier W. Donald McMillen, R.A., cousin of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridesmaids' georgette frocks were in sweetpea shades of cyclamen and blue, and were completed by head-dresses of pleated georgette to match. They carried bouquets of mixed sweetpea, and each wore pearl and diamante earrings, the gifts of the bridegroom. The reception was held at the bride's home. The guests were cordially received by Dr. and Mrs. Warwick. who looked well in an ensemble in black, relieved with a shoulder spray of pink roses. The hat had touches of colour to correspond. Mrs. Ernest McMillen, the bridegroom's mother, wore an ensemble in the new ice-green, trimmed with fox fur. The brown straw hat was finished with a knot of flowers. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by Major McConnell, that of the bridesmaids by Mr. Sydney Jackson, and that of the bride's parents by Rev. Campbell Young. Going away the bride wore a smart coat, checked in bold design in maroon and grey, with a dove-grey Angora frock. The accessories were in maroon. The bridal gown was supplied by Messrs. Robinson & Cleaver, Belfast. The entire catering arrangements were entrusted to the Ulster Menu Co. Ltd., and this company also provided the carpeting at the church. The wedding cars were provided by Melville & Co. Ltd., Belfast
