1) Extract from Believer's Magazine July 1978: Ernest Gracey, Maze, N.I. was
called home suddenly on 26th April, age 56. Saved in Banbridge Gospel Hall
in February 1953 while attending meetings conducted by the late Frank Knox.
Shortly afterwards was baptised and received into fellowship in Broomhedge
Assembly. He leaves a widow ands family of four. CLICK image 1 to read full

2) Joseph R. Ball, Tullyraine, Banbridge, was taken Home on 30th Septr. (no
year), aged 62 years. Saved 38 years ago. For a time associated with
Banbridge Assembly, and afterwards in Growell Assembly where he, with
others, started a Bible reading which still continues. Leaves a widow and
family of 3. CLICK image 2 for full item.
3) John Ritchie, for 37 years Editor of "The Believer's Magazine" who
entered on his rest with Christ on 19th March 1930.
4) Mr. Gilmore and Mr. Kane (Friends for over 73 years).

7) First prize, a holiday in Majorca, went to Mrs. McKiernan, of Cargans,
Tandragee. Second prize (photo) Mrs. D. W. Clydesdale, 68 Cline Road,
Banbridge, handing over the prize is Mr. McKeown, of McKeown & Co., Newry
Street, Banbridge. Third prize, a Hoover Junior cleaner, went to Mrs.
William Spiers, 48 Wright's Park, Rathfriland.
8) back of #7: mention of Headquarters at Ballymoney Hill, "D
company" regretfully bid farewell to Pte. W. D. Smyth of Poyntzpass and wish
him well in his new career with the RUC. ~ ...William Quail, David Thompson,
Billy Keegan, Alwyn Patience and Kenneth Cordner. Last year the club held a
100 hour marathon and on that occasion Lurgan Special Care School, received
half the proceeds. ~ article about someone stealing meat, no name.
9) Mr. Robert Wright, who has returned home after 25 years as a missionary
in Japan, with his wife and six children in their home in Thomas Street,
Carrickfergus. The children are Samuel (14), Annesley (12), Marilyn (10),
Michael (8), Rodrick (5), and Diane (3).
