Daily Mail - The Old School Tie Keeps it's Sheen here. The old school tie of Victoria College, Belfast, really means something. Old girls now meet monthly, and schoolday friendships never die. There are more than 180 members of the association in Ulster and many more scattered abroad. The monthly magazine is sent to girls in all parts of the Empire. Mrs. M. L. Watts, secretary of the association, told me to-day that letters of appreciation come regularly from girls as far away as New Zealand and Canada.  "The girls like to read about their old school friends," she said.
2) Marriages: Keegan - O'Hegarty - Miss Maire Caitriona O'Hegarty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. S. O'Hegarty, Highfield House, Rathgar, Dublin, was married on Saturday last at St. Philip's Church, Milltown, to Mr. George William Keegan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Keegan, Ramleh Villas, Milltown, Co. Dublin. The Service was conducted in Irish by the Rev. John Desmond Murray, assisted by the Rev. W. H. Coulter, rector of the parish. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of white brocade and a Brussels lace veil. She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums.  She was attended by two bridesmaids, her sister, Miss Grainne O'Hegarty, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Joan Keegan.  They wore blue crépe dresses and headdresses of mixed flowers, and they carried bouquets of pink chrysanthemums.  Mr Seán O'Hegarty (brother of the bride) was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held by Mrs. O'Hegarty at Highfield House.
Bradford - Lindsay: The wedding took place on Saturday last at the McCracken Memorial Church, Belfast, of Mr. Roy Hamilton Bradford, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bradford, Glenwood, Dunmurry, Co. Antrim, and Miss Hazel Elizabeth Lindsay, daughter of Captain and Mrs. W. Lindsay, Ard Solus, Sligo. The Rev. David Dowling, M.A., officiated.  The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by her cousin, Miss Rosemary Danter.  The best man was Mr. Norman Bradford, brother of the bridegroom. A reception was afterwards held by the bride's mother at the Midland Hotel, Belfast.
