Photo Album Balmoral
no specific family name but Donaldson gets mentioned a lot
there are a few loose photos tucked inside certain pages, I'll put all the photos in the order they came in the album, although they may have been moved by anyone looking at the album.

below is the first photo in the album, on the inside leaf opposite was written:- Balmoral Prison Records.  All good books have a foreword written by some worthy of that time, so it behoves me to say a little about each of the persons whose photos are here enshrined (a slight pressure on the top left hand corner and off they come).

I.O.M.?  Mrs. Collins - Miss Donaldson deceased.  Age 39 yrs +? - A great girl. (I don't think they mean she is dead, maybe just that the 'Miss' is deceased and she is now married, could be the owner of the album?

no info, on photo says "Safety First" some kind of mathematical equation and "P.S. Greyhound"  "Yo-Ho-Ho and a Bottle...."
and a bunch of pirates, I'm gonna guess Queens University?

I also think this letter is related to the above photo of Pirates.
104 Short Strand, Belfast  27.4.25 - Dear Sir, As promised to your band of "robbers and pirates" I send you herewith cheque £5 in payment of ransom demanded. I sincerely hope that your onslaught on the citizens of our city will result in a very handsome sum being handed over to the Belfast Hospitals.  Sincerely Yours Jas. N. Lyle.  S.
